Empowering Youth To Get Along To Get Ahead

Bringing hope to the youth

Who We Are

Founded in August 2006 by Niecy Dennis White, the Workforce Development Global Alliance (WDGA) is an innovative non-profit organization that equips opportunity youth, ages 15-25 years, with the essential tools needed to cultivate peaceful relationships and motivate youths to succeed in today’s workforce. It’s initial programs served the youth of Nakuru, Kenya and in 2011, WDGA expanded to Homestead and to Pitcairn in 2020 Pennsylvania, USA delivering its signature program to the local communities which embodies a “Local to Global” program. Since 2011, WDGA has been inspiring opportunity youth in the USA and Kenya to remain committed to their education by illuminating the connections between the classroom and the workroom and exposing youth to a variety of career opportunities. Career-day internship experiences and related activities have enabled youth to envision hope where they live, resulting in improved academic performance and ultimately economic self-sufficiency.

What we do

The Workforce Development Global Alliance (WDGA) prepares the youth – tomorrow’s workforce – for economic independence through employment opportunities. Local and international partnerships provide a platform for education, exposure, empowerment, experience, and employment. Programs involve connecting youths with our operating ethics of Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence! These attributes lead to higher educational standards, improved performance, and upgraded quality of life.

Our process

WDGA works with a 2-step process by first collaborating with local employers to expose youth to career opportunities and provide work experience. Followed by the second step which provides a link to work, school, or a career platform leading to employability and economic self-sufficiency.

Together, we can give Hope to
our youth today!
